…Prove it, Says Tinubu
The National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has reacted to the trending photos on social media which claimed that bullion vans loaded with cash were seen entering his house on Friday.

The reports trending with the photos had claimed that the said money was for election purposes.

But in his reaction shortly after casting his vote on Saturday, Tinubu said it was none of anybody’s business if he desired to spend his personal money whichever way he wanted, so long as he did not engage in vote-buying.
Tinubu who described the report as fake, however, urged those peddling such news to desist from doing so.
According to him, “Are those ballot paper?” he queried rhetorically.
He also said that he does not work in any government’s agency nor does he have any contract with President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
He challenged anybody who has contrary evidence to come forward.
According to him, “Bullion vans? Are those ballot paper?”
“Excuse me, is it my money or government money? I don’t work for government, I am not in [any] agency of government. Let anybody come out to say I have taken any contract from the government of President Muhammadu Buhari in the last five years.”
“They should prove it. I am on my own, and I am committed to my party. So, even if I have money to spend in my premises, what is your headache?
“Excuse me, if I don’t represent any agency of government and I have money to spend, if I have money, if I like, I give it to the people free of charge. As long as not to buy votes.
“So, who are those watching my house and looking at Bullion vans? They must be mischief makers, they report falsehood, their lies are numerous, and its because they are jobless.”
