…Recommends reduction of acceptance fees to N15,000
The Abia state House of Assembly, led by the Speaker, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji MNSE, is currently in session where it ruled that Wifi fees be abolished in tertiary institutions.

The lawmakers also said that students now use phone networks and modems to gain internet access and so, don’t need to be subjected to a fee by the institutions.
The House also recommended that acceptance fees into the state’s polytechnic be reduced to N15,000, where in some of the lawmakers argued that the Abia state polytechnic is a free venture for Abians.
