The Nigerian Supreme Court has sacked Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo state.

The Supreme Court nullified the victory of Ihedioha who was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State governorship election that was held last year.

In a unanimous judgement by the panel of judges, the apex court therefore declared Senator Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress as elected Governor of the state.
