Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello made a rapid turnaround to reverse his decision to sack commissioners and local council chairmen in the state.

Earlier, Gov. Bello had reached a decision to sack the commissioners after showing his dissatisfaction with some leaked information that was meant for just a group of people. The government of Kogi State had been linked with some arms importation deal and had planned to make it as unknown to the public as possible.
Gov. Bello showed his discontentment and decided to send his Commissioners out of office before being prevailed upon by members of his close circle who advised him against taking such decision, with campaign for the next elections stated as a strong reason.
The Kogi State Government is yet to release any official statement confirming the sack and the immediate reinstatement that followed suit in a dramatic weekend in Kogi.
