Results have begun trickling in from polling units in the ongoing governorship election in Anambra state.
Although up to 37 political parties are in the contest, a number of them have been on the spotlight.
The election which began in some wards as early as 7 am, with reports of arrests and alleged inducement of voters with money and edibles such as cooked rice, other eras have been relatively peaceful.
While the following is a tentative report of the results from the polling units, we await the official report from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, which is the result to be solely relied on.
However, result from Polling booth 002 Ezira Orumba south indicates that APC polled 12, APGA polled 44, PDP polled 10, UPP polled 2 and while PPA polled 1, APP also polled 1; ADC equally polled 1, while 2 votes were declared invalid.
