The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has alleged that the All Progressive Congress, APC, party, is buying votes with cooked rice in the ongoing governorship election in Anambra state.

PDP had earlier alleged that APC agents were buying votes with N2,500 while also alleging that the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, agents were equally buying votes with the sum of N2,000.
Meanwhile, the Department of States Services, DSS, has arrested a man in the polling unit of the APC candidate, Tony Nwoye, who was allegedly trying to buy votes from voters.
