Jos—TWO children died, while 96 others sustained injuries in the accident involving pupils and staff of Our Lady of Fatima Nursery and Primary School at Mararaba Jamaa junction, Jos South Local Government Area, Plateau State, on their way to school at Kuru Jenta.
About 96 others, who were involved in the crash, are receiving treatment at Plateau State Specialist Hospital, where Governor Simon Lalong paid them a visit while touring facilities in the hospital.
Proprietress of the school, Reverend Sister Florence Golam, who was seen calming the frightened children, said she had no details of the accident.
She said the Headmaster, who can say what transpired, could not be reached.
Parents of the pupils thronged the hospital premises, while staff were attending to the injured in the casualty ward.
